How do you charge?We charge either by the hour (although you are only charged in 15 minute increments - see below) or we can provide a fixed price quote. Generally for a fixed price quote we would come out and take a look at your place first, and then provide a competitive, transparent quote.

Will you come out and look at my place and give me an estimation / fixed quote? Does this cost any extra?We are more than happy to come out and give you a quote. This is completely free and no-obligation so please don’t feel bad about asking.

If my move runs into the next hour, will I be charged the full hour?Absolutely not, we only charge in 15 minute increments. If for example your move takes 5 hours and 15 minutes, you will be charged for 5 hours and 15 minutes of work, and not 6 hours.

Do you have a ‘step charge’ or ‘fuel levy’?No, we do not charge any extra for steps (for example a 3rd floor apartment without a lift) or charge a fuel levy. All of our costs are extremely clear and you will not have any unexpected surprises on the bill.

Does your price include insurance for my goods?The cost of insurance for your items is already included in our price. In the event that any of your belongings are accidentally damaged, scratched, or broken by our movers, you are completely protected by our insurance. If you wish to review a copy of our insurance policy before your move, please don't hesitate to ask.

Are we charged for your lunch break?No, you are not charged for our lunch break. If we happen to stop for a sandwich for 15 - 30 minutes to top up our energy between the load up and unload, this time will be deducted from the bill at the end of the job.

When and how do we pay? Do you require a deposit?No deposit is required to secure your move. Payment is made after the move is completed. Accepted forms of payment are: bank transfer, card payments or cash. You will be provided with an invoice after your move.

Can you provide packaging for my move?Absolutely. We can provide you with different size boxes, tape (& tape gun if required), butchers paper, bubble wrap and whatever else you may require, just ask!

Do you provide a packing service?Yes we do! Just enquire with us and we can go through the different options with you. Generally we pack a day or 2 before your move to keep the move day as stress free as possible, but just let us know what your preference is and we’ll do our best to make this work.

Do you protect and wrap our delicate and fragile items?Yes we do. Our trucks all come with at least 30 - 40 thick removals blankets to wrap your delicate items to avoid them being scratched or damaged in the truck.

Can you disconnect / reconnect our washing machine?Yes we can. This is a daily occurrence for us and will take a matter of minutes to disconnect and reconnect.

Do you have tools to disassemble and reassemble our beds / dining table or do we need to do this before you arrive?We have toolkits on the truck ready to disassemble and reassemble your furniture if required. We do this on a daily basis so it’s no trouble at all for us to take apart and then put back together your furniture on the other end.

Will you put all items in the new place where I want them or do you just leave them all in the nearest room?We will absolutely put all items in the correct rooms. If we are unsure we will ask you where you want your furniture to be placed. Labelling boxes with the room you want them in also helps us place things in the right rooms

Do you have different size trucks to accommodate different size moves?Absolutely. Sometimes apartment jobs require a smaller truck due to a height limit in a loading dock. Alternatively if you are moving a long distance you may require a larger truck in order that your move is completed in 1 trip. Whatever the move, just provide us with the information and we will provide a suitable truck for your job.

Do you only do local moves, or do you provide moves leaving Sydney / going interstate?We move all across Australia. We regularly move homes to Victoria and Queensland so please feel free to contact us with any of your longer distance moves and we’ll be happy to provide you with a quote.

How far in advance do I need to book with you to secure a date?Please call with any enquiries and ask about the date you wish to move. Ideally you would give us at least a week’s notice prior to your move, but we will also try to accommodate any last minute moves.
